3-Way Kitchen Faucet FAQs
1. The faucet handle is too long and touches the wall. Can I replace it with a shorter handle?
Some faucet models can be fitted with a shorter handle. Please send us your faucet model or order number, along with a photo showing the available space between the faucet and the wall. We will check compatibility and recommend a suitable short-handle option.
2. What installation hole size is required?
Most Liliumfaucet kitchen faucets fit a sink or countertop mounting hole between 30 and 35 mm. A 35 mm hole is generally recommended.
Please check the installation drawing for your specific faucet model before drilling a new hole.
3. Which water connection size should I choose?
We offer 3/8-inch and G1/2 connection options. The fitting supplied for the 3/8-inch option depends on the shipping country:
United States and Canada: Select 3/8 inch. We will supply a 3/8-inch compression connection, commonly used in North American kitchens.
Other countries: Select 3/8 inch if your plumbing requires a G3/8 BSP connection. For orders outside the United States and Canada, the 3/8-inch option is normally supplied as G3/8. This connection is commonly found in countries such as Germany, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, and other European markets.
G1/2 connection: Commonly used in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and many European countries.
4. Are different colors and surface finishes available?
Yes. Depending on the faucet model, available finishes may include:
- Chrome
- Brushed stainless steel
- Matte black
- Gold
Available finishes vary by model. If your preferred color is not shown on the product page, please contact us to check availability.
5. How do I connect the filtered-water tube?
The white push-fit connector underneath the faucet is the filtered-water inlet.
To connect it:
Locate the white connector underneath the faucet.
Insert the outlet tube from your under-sink filter or RO system straight into the connector.
Push the tube in firmly until it is fully seated and securely locked.
Gently pull the tube to confirm that it will not come loose.
Turn on the water and check the connection for leaks.
The filtered-water tube connects separately from the hot- and cold-water supply hoses.
6. Where can I find the installation instructions?

You can also search for Liliumfaucet on YouTube to watch step-by-step installation videos. Because faucet models and connection configurations may differ, please follow the instructions provided for your specific model.
Sparkling Water Dispenser FAQs
Before buying an under-sink sparkling water dispenser, it is important to check your faucet hole size, water filter connection, power outlet, CO₂ cylinder setup, and under-sink space.
This FAQ answers the most common installation questions before purchase.

Q1. Where can I buy a CO₂ cylinder?
You can usually buy or exchange food-grade CO₂ cylinders locally from:
- Home brewing supply stores
- Beverage gas suppliers
- Restaurant gas suppliers
- Hydroponic supply stores
- Wine-making supply stores
- Gas suppliers such as Airgas in the U.S.
- Local CO₂ refill or exchange services
Please ask for food-grade CO₂, especially if it will be used for drinking water.
Important: Do not use industrial CO₂ unless the supplier confirms it is food-grade and suitable for beverages.
Q2. Can I connect it to my RO system or water filter?
Yes, the dispenser can be connected to an under-sink water filter or RO system, as long as the water pressure and flow are suitable.
However, for the best sparkling water taste and carbonation performance, we recommend using a regular drinking water filter rather than an extremely strong RO or softened water system.
Sparkling water usually performs better when the water still contains some natural minerals. If the water is too pure, such as from strong reverse osmosis, whole-house softening, or very low-TDS filtration, the CO₂ bubbles may not attach as well, and the sparkling water may taste flatter or less bubbly.
Recommended setup:
Standard under-sink drinking water filter: recommended
RO system with stable pressure and flow: acceptable
Very low-TDS RO water without remineralization: not ideal for strong carbonation
If you already use RO water, we recommend checking the outlet pressure and flow before installation.
Q3. Is the water filter included?
No. The water filter is not included.
You can connect the dispenser to your existing under-sink water filter. We recommend using a regular drinking water filter that improves taste while keeping enough mineral content for better carbonation.
If you use a strong RO system, please make sure the outlet pressure and flow are stable. If the water is too pure or the flow is too slow, carbonation may be weaker.
Q4. What CO₂ cylinder should I use?
Please use a food-grade CO₂ cylinder with a matching pressure regulator.
The CO₂ cylinder itself is not included. You can purchase or refill one locally. You may choose the cylinder size based on your space and usage needs.
Common options include:
- Small CO₂ cylinder for light home use
- 5 lb CO₂ cylinder for regular home use
- 10 lb or larger CO₂ cylinder for heavier use or commercial-style kitchens
For most home kitchens, a 5 lb refillable CO₂ cylinder is a practical choice if you have enough under-sink space.
Q5. Do I need to refill or exchange the CO₂ cylinder?
Yes. When the CO₂ cylinder is empty, you will need to refill or exchange it locally.
Many gas suppliers and home brewing stores offer cylinder exchange services. This is often easier than refilling the exact same cylinder.
We recommend checking local availability before installation so you know where to refill or exchange the cylinder later.
Q6. What CO₂ pressure should I set?
Recommended CO₂ pressure: 65–80 psi.
For first use, you can start around 65 psi and adjust gradually based on the carbonation taste.
Please do not set the pressure too high. Excessive pressure may affect performance and may create safety risks.
Q7. What CO₂ regulator connection do I need?
Please choose a CO₂ regulator that matches your CO₂ cylinder.
For the dispenser side, please use a 5/16” connection. The dispenser connects to the regulator using the provided 5/16” CO₂ hose.
Before buying a regulator, please check:
- The regulator fits your CO₂ cylinder
- The regulator can adjust output pressure to around 65–80 psi
- The outlet can connect to a 5/16” hose, or you have the correct adapter
Q8. Is a SodaStream cylinder compatible?
A SodaStream-style cylinder is not the easiest option for this type of under-sink system.
It may work only if you have the correct adapter and regulator setup, but this depends on the cylinder type and local fitting standard.
For easier installation and long-term use, we recommend using a standard refillable food-grade CO₂ cylinder with a matching regulator.
Q9. What CO₂ cylinder size is best for home use?
For most home users, a 5 lb CO₂ cylinder is a good balance between size, cost, and refill frequency.
Smaller cylinders take up less space but need to be replaced more often. Larger cylinders usually cost less per glass of sparkling water but require more under-sink or nearby storage space.
If you drink sparkling water daily, choose the largest food-grade CO₂ cylinder that comfortably fits your available space.
Q10. Can the CO₂ cylinder be placed outside the sink cabinet?
Yes. The CO₂ cylinder can be placed farther away from the dispenser if needed.
You can place it:
- Beside the dispenser under the sink
- In a nearby cabinet
- In a corner cabinet
- In another ventilated nearby space
If you use a longer CO₂ tube, please use food-grade, pressure-resistant tubing suitable for CO₂.
Q11. How much under-sink space do I need?
The dispenser size is approximately 440 × 170 × 480 mm.
Please leave at least 10 cm of ventilation space behind the machine. The unit should be placed on a level surface, and the ventilation openings should not be blocked.
Before ordering, we recommend measuring your under-sink space and checking the location of:
- Water filter
- CO₂ cylinder
- Power outlet
- Drain pipe
- Cabinet door clearance
Q12. Can the dispenser be installed far away from the faucet?
Yes, but the distance should be planned carefully.
The standard water and CO₂ tubes are suitable for normal under-sink installation. If you need a longer distance, please use food-grade tubing and make sure the water pressure remains stable.
For best performance, we recommend keeping the dispenser as close to the faucet as practical.
Q13. Can I use the machine without CO₂?
No, we do not recommend using the dispenser without CO₂.
This machine is designed as a sparkling water dispenser. CO₂ is part of the normal working setup. Using the machine without CO₂, especially with very pure low-TDS water, may affect normal operation and performance.
Please prepare the CO₂ cylinder and regulator before installation.
Q14. Why is my sparkling water not bubbly enough after installation?
New installations may need some flushing and adjustment before the carbonation becomes stable.
Please check:
- The CO₂ cylinder is open
- The regulator is set around 65–80 psi
- CO₂ is actually entering the machine
- The water is cold enough
- The water filter is not reducing pressure too much
- The water is not too pure or completely softened
- The sparkling line has been flushed several times
Tip: Run the sparkling water for one second before placing your glass under the tap. This flushes out water sitting in the line and improves the first sip.
Q15. What should I do if CO₂ is not entering the machine?
Please check the following:
- Make sure the CO₂ cylinder is fully open.
- Confirm the cylinder is not empty.
- Turn the regulator clockwise to increase pressure.
- Check that the regulator is not overtightened onto the cylinder.
- Make sure the 5/16” CO₂ tube is fully inserted into the fitting.
- Check for leaks at the regulator and connection points.
If you are unsure, please send us a short video of your CO₂ cylinder, regulator, pressure gauge, and tube connection.
Q16. Is special ventilation required?
The dispenser should be installed indoors on a flat surface with enough open space around the machine.
Please leave at least 10 cm of space behind the unit for ventilation. Do not block the vents.
Good ventilation helps the cooling system work properly and helps prevent overheating protection.
Q17. Do I need a plumber?
If you are comfortable with under-sink water connections, installation is straightforward.
However, we recommend hiring a qualified plumber if you are not familiar with:
- Faucet installation
- Water filter connection
- Drilling countertop holes
- CO₂ regulator setup
- Under-sink tubing and quick-connect fittings

Q18. What should I prepare before installation?
Please prepare:
- Correct power outlet
- Standard drinking water filter
- Food-grade CO₂ cylinder
- Matching CO₂ regulator
- Correct faucet hole size
Q19. What is included in the installation kit?
The dispenser includes the basic installation fittings, such as water tubing, CO₂ tubing, ball valves, and heat-insulating material.
The CO₂ cylinder, CO₂ regulator, and water filter are not included and should be prepared separately.
Q20. Can this be used in an office, café, or commercial setting?
Yes, it can be used in homes, offices, cafés, bars, and similar spaces.
For heavier use, please make sure you have:
- Stable water pressure
- Proper ventilation
- A larger CO₂ cylinder
- Enough time for the unit to chill and carbonate between heavy use
If you need it for high-volume commercial use, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether the setup is suitable.
Q21. What should I check before placing an order?
Before ordering, please confirm:
- You have space for the dispenser under the sink
- You can leave at least 10 cm behind the unit for ventilation
- You have access to a suitable power outlet
- Your faucet hole size is suitable
- You can connect to a standard drinking water filter
- Your water pressure and flow are stable
- You can buy food-grade CO₂ locally
- You can get a matching CO₂ regulator
- Your CO₂ regulator can connect to a 5/16” hose
